FEATURE: Send Emma to Drama School!

Hello my beauties!!

As you know, I'm all for helping people when I can, and I love my charity work so when I found out a friend of mine was in major need of some help I felt only right to feature her on my blog!!

I'm here today writing this post with an open heart and hoping that you can all help a friend of mine! Before you click the red cross at the top of the page or 'tut' because you think I'm about to beg you to donate your life savings into some strangers life, I'm not (although by all means donate as little or as much as you can lol) but from simply reading this post and sharing it via Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Networking sites then you're helping us get more people to know about this, and potentially gaining more donations!
So just reading / sharing this makes you a part of Emma's amazing journey!

Meet Emma Frith, she's a 20 year old University student that I met a few years back through friends who were down the Drama route.  She's an amazing girl with such a big heart and is crying out for some support.

Emma is a fun, bubbly, high achieving girl with a fantastic talent! I'm a huge believer that if you have a talent, you need to use it and that's exactly what she's done up until this point, she's kind of hit a brick wall!

Emma has been performing since she was a little girl, any chance to get up infront of an audience she’d take the limelight! Since she started education everything was Drama, Dance or Performing related. She has always dreamed of getting into a Drama School, and that dream has just come true!! She’s grabbed herself a place at London Theatre School and I couldn’t be more proud, as are her friends and family. This means Emma will be singing, acting and dancing with/by trained industry professionals. There’s just one slight hitch this amazing dream comes at a cost, a very large £11,000 cost per year! So she’s begun fundraising.

The following section has been copied from her personal fundraising page to give you a little insight as to her performing background and her plea to you wonderful people!

"Hello! I'm Emma.
I've been performing since I was tiny, and I just achieved my dream of getting into a drama school. I am now raising the fees to start London Theatre School to study musical theatre in september 2014 and I would really appreciate your help! I will be training at pineapple and dance works every day, trained by industry professionals in singing acting and dancing. It's £11,000 per year of study without money for accomodation and travel fees, so I have a long way to go, and I am asking you to help me achieve my dream of going! Thank you so much in advance, it really means everything to me.

My performing arts history: I started ballet tap and jazz classes when I was just three years old. Since then I have also trained in latin and ballroom, freestyle, contemporary and street dance, as well as taking part in every single school production that my school did.
When I was fourteen, I was one of 140 out of 4000 auditionees accepted into the highly respected National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, an organisation that trains 14-25 year olds in acting. Alumni of the NYT include David Walliams, Dame Helen Mirren, Daniel Craig, Colin Firth, Matt Smith, Matt Lucas and many more. After my training with NYT, I went on to perform in several shows with them, and I still rely on my training today.
At secondary school, I took GCSEs in Dance Drama and a BTEC in Music, achieving results within the highest 5% of the country for my Dance GCSE. I moved on to college to study a BTEC in Musical Theatre, taking extra units outside of my timetable just to learn more about the subject. I achieved a triple distinction for my final grade.
I then went to Buckinghamshire New University to study a BA (hons) degree in Dance and Performance. During my time there, I was involved in the creation of the performing arts society, taking up the role of Chairperson in my second year. I was also actively involved in the Dance team, and was picked to be a part of the competition teams in all three years of study. In my third year, I was picked to be the choreographer of the latin team, and we have won several trophies at inter-university competitions.
I am currently writing my dissertation, and will be graduating this year. As I love learning, I decided in my second year that I would either apply for a masters degree or an intensive musical theatre course after graduating from University, and I applied for London Theatre School. Following my audition on the 1st of April 2014, I recieved a letter of acceptance for the 2014 intake.... and now I am here, frantically trying to raise money to pay for the fees!
Performing is my life, it is everything, and I have never wanted anything else. I have won lots of trophies in my lifetime for my academic skills as well as my performance ability, and have taken part and won many performance and choreography competitions as well.
Job wise, I've been teaching dance and musical theatre to both children and adults for three years in various schools and dance schools. I also own my own princess entertainment company, providing entertainment at childrens parties and events. I have also done a lot of volunteer work, teaching adults with learning difficulties at a local care home.
Performing really is everything to me and I really would appreciate anything you can give. This school will have me training at danceworks and pineapple dance every day and will assist me in my goal of one day reaching the west end. I need to raise £11,000 per year of study, and that is without accomodation or travel fees.. so I have a long way to go!
Thank you so much for reading. You are the one.
Much love xxxxxxx"

So whether you donate or share this post every little helps!
I have donated £10 my self and would have donated more if I could but as little as £1 could make a difference!
Please help and support Emma.
She only has a few months to reach her total.
She's amazing and really does deserves this chance!
