Okay, I'm not one for trying things out when there is a big 'hype' about it. I'd much rather try something if it catches my eye. I'm not going to lie when I first heard that Alexandra Burke was partaking in a lipstick collection with MUA I got a little over excited and I was going to purchase them ALL but I'm glad I didn't.
As a lot of you know I'm a huge fan of lipstick! I very rarely go out without some sort of lipstick on.
So I finally made a purchase, I went for the darkest shade because with the cold weather I'm loving the natural look and big, bright popping lips!!
It claims to be a 4 in 1 lipstick ....
1. Lipstick alone for a matte look.
2. Lipstick with highlighter applied just to the centre of your lips to create a full volume illusion.
3. Lipstick with highlighter all over for a super-glossy look.
4. Highlighter alone for a sheer pearl finish.
I wasn't all that excited about the highlighter because I'm not a fan of any form of lip gloss although it wasn't as bad as I thought. I tend to find lip glosses very sticky! It almost makes me feel a little sick when applying and wearing it. I didn't get this from the LIP BOOM although the glitter annoyed me a little - it was worth it for the highlighting effect though! Maybe I'm just being fussy?
Again another brilliant product from MUA, the coverage from the Lipstick was normal standard - excellent! Overall a very happy Shannon!!

Have you tried any MUA lip products?
Have you invested in the collection? I'll be making a few more purchases that's for sure!
